My fees are higher than those charged by most inspectors in North Texas, and that is both intentional and appropriate.
I do not provide commodity inspections. I do not perform checklist-driven “home inspections,” nor do I operate under a volume-based business model where speed, pricing pressure, and minimal liability exposure dictate the scope of work. My services are limited to technically rigorous construction and code-based inspections performed by an inspector whose entire practice is focused on identifying material defects, omissions, and noncompliance that others routinely miss.
The difference is not subtle. It lies in the depth of analysis, the inspection methodology, the time spent on site, the level of documentation, and—most importantly—the qualifications and experience brought to bear. My inspections are performed from the perspective of construction defect identification and code compliance, not real-estate transaction facilitation. That distinction matters, particularly in new construction, remodels, and high-value properties where the financial consequences of missed defects can be substantial.
In practical terms, my fees reflect the reality that this work requires more time, more expertise, and greater professional accountability than the services offered by inspectors who compete primarily on price. Clients who retain me are not paying for reassurance; they are paying for accuracy, independence, and defensible technical conclusions.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Inspection appointments are firm appointments. Cancellations for any reason must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. All cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incur a $250 rescheduling fee. No exceptions. It is solely your responsibility to ensure that you, your builder, and/or seller are prepared for the inspection at the scheduled time.
