WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING
Aaron,
Aaron performed a home and termite inspection on the property of a home we're wanting to buy.Member Comments: I called Aaron on a Tuesday and he set an appointment to do an inspection the following Monday. He was prompt, professional, and gave us a 15% discount for paying in cash. He had the report to us just 3 hours after completing the inspection. It was extremely thorough and included photos, which were extremely helpful. He always responded quickly to emails and phone calls. He also immediately answered some follow up questions I had about the report. He was awesome.

Aaron's Inspections,
He inspected two homes that were being built for us. He normally does three (3) inspections during the course of building a home. First, the prepour of the foundation inspection. Second, pre-drywall inspection. And, third, post-drywall inspection just before closing. He issued detailed reports to us after each inspection. We shared these with the builders.Member Comments: In the first house, he issued a report that showed that the builder was about to set the foundation in a bad manner, and this would have meant foundation and structural problems. We bailed on that house, and were very thankful for his report about this builder's many mistakes. The second builder agreed to a contractual provision that the builder had to sucessfully pass up to 4 evaluations by an independent inspector. He gave us a report with each inspection, and these were used to push the builder in the right direction. We asked him for an additional inspection involving the slope of the property at the front of the house and the placement of weep holes. He was on this job quite rapidly, although it was an unscheduled one.He saved us a bunch of money and a lot of aggravation. He is well worth the cost of his services, and by using him, while he does cost, he saves you far more in the future. I personally like him, and we developed a solid relationship during our journey, as seniors, into today's world of home building. I have nothing but the highest respect for him, and he is highly recommended.

AHI,
Aaron did a home ispection and a WDI report for us.
He covered everything from roof to foundation. About a day after the inspection he sent a 90 page report, with youtube videos, pictures and codes. My real estate agent was floored.Member Comments: I called him. He returned my call promptly. We agreed to meet at around 8 or 9. When I arrived he was on the roof. I left him alone why he inspected the house. After he was done he pointed out a few things he found. He also answered all of my questions about the place.
He found all types of issues. Everything from weird but not serious issues to things that need to be repaired immediately.

Aaron,
his guy knows what he's doing...builder and real estate agent said he's the most detailed they have ever seen! i would use him again! tells it like it is.

Hi Aaron,
I just thought you might be interested in the results of your inspection report... Probably 90% of the issues you identified and items that caused us concern were remedied in some way by our builder.
The item I thought you would be most interested to hear about is the issue of the lack of flashing around the Hardie Board (e.g. where it meets the brick). We presented the information to our construction manager and he took it to his supervisor. The end result is that Darling is retro-fitting the most recent builds here in the community, including our house, and on a going forward basis they will include the flashing. They had two representatives from Hardie here last week to train of their crews on the appropriate way to remedy the existing houses and install the flashing. They started first with their model.
So, your input was greatly valued :-) Just wanted to let you know and thank you again for your work.
All the best,
Sandy Farrar
Aaron: Thank you for your help in inspecting our house and provided the detailed report with code references. The build took your report seriously and they've agreed to fix most of the issues listed in your report. Attached is what the builder is planning to do. Please review and let me know if what they planned to fix seems sufficient and what they don't plan to fix is ok or not. After the builder fix these issues, I plan to have you re-inspect my house again. Look forward to your response.
Thanks.

Aaron, this is an amazing amount of work in such short time! Thank you for working with us and I apologize for such rush. Thank you again!

Aaron:
Thank you.
It is so refreshing to find someone that will provide a buyer with the plain & simple facts. You are a superb inspector!
Maria Gonzalez
We wanted to have an independent, 3rd party home inspection for a new home build. Aaron was right on time, thorough, and obviously very knowledgeable. He found several things we were able to have corrected by our home builder before closing on the house.
We would highly recommend his services. He not only sent us the inspection report that same afternoon, but sent it to our builder as well. Our Construction manager was familiar with his work & spoke very highly of his thoroughness & skill as well.
Thanks,
Sara Tsung
Aaron was fantastic. When my husband arrived at the house for the inspection start time, Aaron was already there and had been working for 30 minutes. He was incredibly thorough (our real estate agent commented that he had never seen such a thorough and detailed home inspector in his 20+ years), and we received a detailed report complete with pictures and all of his findings later that day. We will definitely use Aaron again!
Best,
Robin Miller
Aaron did an outstanding job. He has a thorough knowledge of building code requirements and industry standards. He caught big and small problems. He provided the experienced eyes and ears for a project as to which we had no background. Thanks to him, we avoided building a home that would be woefully inadequate. He is also a pleasure to deal with. He returns calls promptly and makes himself available to help as needed. A good advocate for the consumer.
Thanks,
Sydney McDole, Esq.
Mr. Miller was very flexible, met all of my concerns and needs and did an excellent job of finding all the things my eyes missed when looking at the home. I needed his help and he worked with me during some unusual contracting/payment details, and was a real pro in dealing with the seller and always had my best interests in mind. I would use his services again anytime!
Sincerely,
David Weber
Aaron was extremely thorough, discussed with me the high points of recommended/necessary repairs for almost 40 minutes, and submitted a very detailed 75 page report with lots of pictures of the items needing to be addressed. Aaron comes across as a crusty old codger, but the man knows his stuff. He can give you the building codes from the 1950s through today. When you are putting hundreds of thousands of dollars into an investment, it's best not to cut corners on this step. I appreciated the level of detail in his report and am going into this purchase with my eyes wide open. My current home that I am selling was inspected by another company that didn't seem to provide the same level of detail that I got from Aaron's report, so I am very with what I got for my money.
Thank you,
Cindy A. Simpson
Aaron performed our home inspection for planned purchase. The best, most complete inspection I have ever had (this was the 5th time I've had one) and the price was $15 less than quoted.
Arthur Hastings
Aaron is the best!!! He was prompt and thorough and he is a very knowledgeable inspector. He found many defects to our home. You can’t go wrong with Aaron, he was great. The inspection report he generated actually listed sections of the code (TRCC, IRC, etc.) and indicated what needed to be done to ensure compliance.
Sincerely,
Mandisa Price
Aaron arrived promptly, actually a little early to begin the inspection. He found about 40 items that were either incorrectly installed or were in need of repair. After completing the inspection, he reviewed with us the items that he found. Within a few hours, he provided a complete, and very detailed report with pictures, and descriptions of the proper way to install household items.
Thanks,
Kenneth Danes
Aaron performed inspection for a remodeled home which we purchased. He also performed the re-inspection following repairs by the seller. The experience, including the pest control inspector with whom Aaron works, was excellent. He was thorough and found issues throughout the house. He also gave a good perspective on which issues were must-do's in terms of repairs, and which issues were long term possible concerns. The report was prompt, comprehensive, and well-written.
Thanks!

I hired Aaron to do a home and termite inspection on a house I planned to buy. Aaron and company arrived on time and went over major points with me in person immediately after completing the inspection, and gave explanations of how the problems likely occurred and what to do to repair and prevent many of them in the future. He emailed me his formal report later the same day. He subcontracted the termite inspection to Joe Cohen. Joe also went over areas that might become problems and what to do to prevent them. These guys are the best!
Thank you,
Deborah Comer
Aaron and his men were very prompt, and very reliable. They did a really thorough job. We have used him 3 times and every time he did a really deep inspection He has saved me a lot of money finding stuff that I did not know was there.
Best,
Misty Puls
Aaron is what you are looking for in a home inspector - a guy that has been around for a long time and been in the construction industry from many angles. He is heads above any guy that just goes to inspection school and gets a license. He is on time, thorough, and to the point. He will find problems with the house that other inspectors do not, a fact that he also guarantees. At a minimum, these additional issues will give you additional bargaining power with the seller. With respect to my inspections, Aaron made himself available during and after the inspection for a host of questions from me, a first time buyer. Aaron is not cheap, but he is entitled to his fee based upon his credentials and experience. I considered giving him a B on price, but after considering it further, he deserves an A because the quality of his service and expertise over others justifies the cost.
Sincerely,
Hudson Jobe
I met Aaron at the property during the inspection. After he had done the inspection, he spent time with me going around and showing me the things he had found. I learned quite a bit in the process. After that, I had a 88-page report within a few hours with pictures of the issues and IRC, NEC, and TRCC code violations. I am currently fighting with the builder on a few of the issues about three weeks later. Aaron still responds to emails based on this report he did and has been offering me great ammunition to go back to the builder with. I am going to use him for my final inspection in a few weeks. He is a VERY thorough inspector! He does cost a little more than others, but it is money WELL WORTH spent; therefore, You definitely get what you pay for! I just can't praise him enough!
Thank you,
David Wilkins
Aaron inspected two homes for me. He is a thorough and conscientious professional with numerous certifications in home inspections and 20+ years experience as a home builder. He is available for questions at the end of the inspection and after he emails you a full written report. His extensive expertise enables you to make well-informed decisions on the purchase of a property and to talk with contractors about any repairs that are needed.
On one property, I hired a plumber and a HVAC man to make inspections also. I found that I had wasted my money. They did not find 1/2 of the items that Aaron did. When I asked the men about the items, they said yes they were there but they failed to report them. All in all those 2 men were substandard in their inspection and I was glad I could rely on Aaron to give me a comprehensive assessment.
Kudos!
Susan Baird
Mr. Miller and three other specialists (termite, pool/spa, security system) performed a comprehensive pre-purchase home inspection on an existing home.
This is the second time I've used Aaron's. They were prompt, efficient, and thorough. I had a written report via Email in about four hours.
I selected Mr. Miller because he holds an ASHI designation (among several others), and this is supposed to be the most respected professional designation. I'm very pleased. We had a scheduled 8:00am start time, when I arrived at 7:52, Mr. Miller and the termite inspector were completing the exterior inspection. Upon interior access, Mr. Miller and the three specialists went to work. Mr. Miller concluded his work at approximately 9:45am, and visited for about twenty minutes about his findings. I received a detailed report via Email early that afternoon. The best praise I can give is that Mr. Miller is a knowledgeable, diligent hard-working inspector. I would absolutely use him again. I was very pleased and recommend Aaron's whole-heartedly.
Thanks,
Paul Cooper
